The 47th International AFSCME Convention will take place August 17-21, 2026 in Chicago, IL. Elected delegates from across the nation will come together to exchange ideas and re-energize our movement. UDW delegates are elected to represent UDW, Local 3930 at the AFSCME International Convention.

EXPENSES:
All costs to send the delegates to the convention in Chicago will be paid for by UDW including all flights, hotel accommodations and a daily per diem to pay for all meals. The expenses of guests who are non-delegates will not be paid by UDW, Local 3930.
CHALLENGES TO THE ELIGIBILITY OF NOMINEES:
A list of candidates nominated will be posted on www.udw.org on May 25, 2026. Any member or nominee may challenge the eligibility of a nominee. Any challenges to the eligibility of a nominee should have been submitted in writing to Election Committee 4855 Seminole Drive, San Diego, CA 92115 or faxed to 1-619-550-3105 or emailed to electioncommittee2026@udw.org. Eligibility challenges must have been received no later than 9 AM, on June 2, 2026. The decisions of the election committee concerning all eligibility challenges are final.
