Effective 6:41pm on Thursday, May 21, 2026, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department issued an Evacuation Order (Mandatory) for hazardous a materials (vapor) release.
On Friday, May 22, 2026 at 06:07 am, additional evacuation orders for impacted areas were launched due to changes in the incident. At 11:16 am, the evacuation area was further expanded to the borders listed below.
The following cities are affected by the evacuation orders: Garden Grove, Stanton, Anaheim, Cypress, Westminster, and Buena Park.
