Meet Rosemarie Santa Maria. Rosemarie lives in Riverside County and has been a child care provider for almost 20 years! Before she became a provider, she worked in the medical field in Southern California. Rosemarie joined UDW in 2022 to meet other child care providers around her and to fight for better wages and benefits!

Meet Roxanne Sepulveda. Roxanne lives in Riverside County and has been a provider for a year! She currently cares for her grandmother, who is in a wheelchair after experiencing hip problems. She joined UDW as soon as she became a caregiver to get more involved with her community!
“I walked into this (caregiving) blindfolded and I didn’t know how to do things like fill out the timesheet or I could take trainings to help me,” Roxanne said. “UDW and the local membership meetings help me stay informed!”
