UDW Launches New Look And Statewide Public Awareness Campaign

For nearly 50 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to build a strong union of care workers across California. Together, we’ve made history for UDW members, our communities, and the Californians in our care. In January, we launched an exciting new campaign to share the incredible work of our union and advance our mission of building better lives for workers and our communities. 

Our new brand captures and reflects the real power of the work we do, and is so much more than a pretty face: it is a renewed promise to uphold the dignity of our workforce and build better lives for ourselves, our families, and our communities. With our accompanying public awareness campaign, we’re bringing our stories to people who have never heard of us before, and sharing the power of our union and the work we do every day.

“Home care providers are essential,” caregiver Sabrina Bishop says in her story. “I’m fighting for those who are working hard and just want to be treated fairly.
